This course will prepare you to understand business viability (the long-term survival of a business and its ability to sustain profits over a period of time) through corporate policy and the tactics that increase the value of the corporation. Supporting topics to better understand and to successfully execute viability include understanding the external economic environment, identifying multiple and varied sources of incoming resources (cash) and outgoing liabilities (payment schedules). Cash flow rules. You will gain an understanding of what items are cash related on how they affect the balance sheet, income statement, and the profit/loss statements. Organizational viability is important not only for the business itself but also for the employees who work for the business and the community it serves.
