    Guidelines

    • Applicants must be affiliated with Cleary University through current faculty, staff, student or student organization.
    • Grants of between $250 and $5,000 will be awarded.
    • Requests must be for funds that are not included in the operating budget. Funds will be administered by the Cleary University business office.
    • Approved grant projects must be completed within 1 year and must be financially feasible with any other committed funds identified.
    • Any publicity of a funded project will be handled by Cleary University.
    • Grants will be based on how the project supports Cleary University’s Mission, Vision and Values.
    • Review the University Mission, Vision, and Values on the website. Grants are awarded at the sole discretion of Helen’s Circle.
    • If the grant application does not meet the required criteria or the deadline, it will not be reviewed. Application must be typed and submitted electronically.
    • The application deadline is March 31. Applications will be reviewed and announced no later than June 30.
    • The applicant(s) may be required to present the project to the Helen’s Circle members at their May meeting.
    • The final project summary is due to Helen’s Circle at the end of the one year period. Projects with approved time extensions are required to submit a progress summary report at the end of the one year period and then a final project summary is due at the time the extension expires.
