Justin Saxman started his lacrosse career in 6th grade in Holt, Michigan. He played until high school graduation in 2012 and then attended Alma College, from which he graduated in 2016. At Alma, Justin played lacrosse and graduated with a degree in healthcare administration.
Shortly after graduation, he began coaching high school lacrosse for Okemos High School. He coached JV for two years and then moved up to defensive coach for the varsity team. Throughout the summer and fall,
Justin coached for the club team known as Momentum Michigan. In 2018, when Dan Buchy became head lacrosse coach at Cleary University, Justin became assistant coach. In this position, he assists with recruitment and practice planning. He also serves as the defensive and goalie coach.
Justin is currently pursuing his masters degree in financial planning at Cleary University and will graduate in June of 2021. He says he’s “very excited about the future of Cleary Men’s Lacrosse as well as the entire athletics department. It is great to see the recent addition of men’s hockey to the school and all of the future planned changes coming Cleary’s way.”
